It's been a while since I have written or blogged anything. I used to have a fancy blog. I actually paid someone to make it pretty at one point. I was really into it. I wanted to write stuff that was pertinent to moms. So, I guess it was a mom blog - and we all know there are a gazillion of those.
Anyway. It's just been on my heart to write again. We've had a couple of crazy years and to sum it up quickly it would look something like this:
Moved across the country, missed family, moved back across the country, bought acreage, went through a really big tornado, lost our forest, decided to become a homestead, still rebuilding, weathering a pandemic. I guess that would be the quick version. I know I want to go more in depth on some of these topics, but there it is condensed.
Life has felt like a nonstop train for the past several years and I honestly have gotten used to that rhythm of change and speed and to a large degree I like it. So now, with coronavirus I am feeling a little penned in and that itch is persistent. That desire to change something in a big way.
So that's where I am currently. I don't know what I'm going to write about or that this blog will have a theme, but I'm excited to get thoughts out in written form again.
